Good start. I never understand why people can not be more constructive when they say they don't like something so you can take it on board. It would help to understand the critic. Good luck with the writing.

A nice start, looking forward to seeing how they progress. I like that they whole group jumped rite in on it, a nice twist from what I expected halfway though.
