Good story. Nice twist at the end. Kind of devoid of sexy, though, which makes it a weird fit for this site.

I don't understand how the first reader didn't see what was coming. First law of the wilderness.... survival of the fittest. 2nd law... The young bucks always fight the older bucks for supremacy. It was a foregone conclusion what was gonna happen about half way through the story. Was well written though and I enjoyed it.

This is got to be the most crazy ass story Ive ever read. Great job.

After reading your other stuff, this one falls so short of your literary capabilites I'm in disbelieve. In other words if you were a dog you just took a shit in front of the TV and then barked at me during the Super Bowl in overtime. The dark side ain't for you!

Being human(ish)... I fucked up and hit only 4 stars.... I have this tiny little touch screen phone and stupid ass man hands... I can't figure out if or how to fix my fuck up. I am deeply sorry... Moving on, this isn't my usual fare. I tend to stick to humor/satire, but I (swear I am not a stalker) was looking at your expansive list of work... And yeah... I kinda got into it. A person with many hats indeed! From sci-fi to uhmmm... Deliverance type stories...? I am amazed as always at your versatility! Good show!

Not sure how to rate this one. I guess he got his revenge, a family and the isolation he wanted, just not sure where it was going from there. Okay, I liked it more than I didn't, sure as hell wasn't average. So it gets four stars, lol.
