You're a fine writer, and most of your stories that I've read involve greater character development than this one. But beyond character development, the key to a really good story is to have some sort of meaningful conflict ending with a resolution. This story had no real conflict. It was much more of a stroke story. And of course that's a specialty for this site. But you've shown an ability to take stories to the next level.

I didn't rate it at all, because I saw the high rating and don't want to spoil that for you. It's just not my cup of tea. Your longer stories usually hit the spot for me. Keep up the good work - just remember the need for a conflict and its resolution. Thanks for sharing.

As I said, good story, but the cop talk and gun references in the bedroom didn't make it for me.

Good story but don't know enough about them to care. What does he do for a living? Why is he at home all the time? Yeah, he writes but about what? They got into the sack in record time. Is this normal for them? She's a cop, seems unlikely that someone as hot as she is described, doesn't have the entire police force filling her date book, hence not available for a last minute date.

It was my dream come true. To fall in love with that much passion.

This story is as well built and expertly told as any of the others I have read by this author. It is a boy meets girl, boy and girl have incredible sex a few times and seemingly live happily ever after. But there is a sense of romance that permeates the thing that makes the story so much better.
