This story was a little slow and dry.

I enjoyed the story and the series so far. But I will say that the beginning reads as a bit procedural- we don't necessarily need every detail of the schedule explained more then once even if the characters are doing it, for example. You can skip past that in favor of the interesting things- how did people react to their first assignment, or something else. The schedule itself is the least interesting part of doing this kind of thing, right?
