hugely romantic. i like the pacing of the story. its not those "they didnt met on a monday, fucked on a tuesday, and married on wednesday". usually, in those kinds of story, the couple are divorced by friday.

This is one of the best stories I've read off this site. It has also been the second piece of erotic lit I've ever read that's made me cry. All of it seemed very, very legitimate until the 6 kids part - but the rest truly inspired me. I'm fresh out of a two year on/off relationship and I've realized that I don't wanna hook up anymore. The way he proposed to her was amazingly sweet and unexpected. The ending had a nice gentle downfall. It wasn't one of those stories that left you wondering and with a million questions. Another thing I liked was that it wasn't some porno story where they are are having sex every other paragraph while screaming cuss words at each other. By far one of the better, if not best, stories I have read on this site. Good job, very good job.

As I followed this story to what I had hoped was its logical conclusion, at times I was moved to a point of tears. I held back since 'real' men don't weep. A hard job though as Jacob and Anne Marie learn about each other.

Wow, one of the best stories I've read on this web site, and unquestionably the best sex scenes I've read in my life, ever! The build up was just right, as was the pacing. I really liked the idea of passing notes, and it was a great plot device. Also, nice job on revealing the contents of the notes after the fact, at the end of the scenes. What's great about these characters, too, is how you can relate to their emotional struggles and their reluctance to dive into something that might be just a rebound for him. The ending was entirely predictable, but that's OK. Also, I could've done without the epilogue, especially because I thought it was overly saccharine. Another criticism I have is that I think most women hate the words "pussy" or "tits," but that's your call as the author. Well done, overall, and now I'm excited to read your other stories!!! Bravo.

A true masterpiece would love to see a published novel! So the story can last longer. Well done you deserve all the praise!!

This is a well-written story, with sufficient character development, sympathetic leading characters, and engaging depth of emotion. I haven't read a story on Literotica that better contrasts erotica from pornography (or the stroke story).

It seemed forced or awkward early on and even a bit in the middle. Then at another point roughly 2/3 or 3/4 in there was a bit where I wondered WTF was going on because there was some sort of flashback-like thing going on. It was odd.

But then, having been invested that much by the time the end crept up to me it worked out nicely. A little rushed at the end, I still found it enjoyable enough to rate it at the top.

I've read this story again, again, and again and it never fails to move me. I must have read other stories on this site that were as good--but I can't seem to recall them...

This story was the most amazing love story. The sex was perfect and I especially love the line ' Jake and Ann Marie fucked like rabbits until she peed on a stick and it turned blue.' The end was sad because of the death of Jake, and later the death of Ann Marie, but it was the perfect end to the perfect love story. This story is simply inspiring.

I've never commented on these stories, but this is absolutely my favorite one. It's going to be very hard for others to top it. Great job!
