This is a great start. There is potential in the nascent story line. One of my favorite elements of many of your stories is found in this opening chapter. You often draw on some of the most ancient stories known to mankind, bring them into a contemporary setting and give us a new look at them.

Btw, I found HFHM, if I remember correctly, when you had only around 10 chapters in the opening saga. I wait, impatiently, for each new chapter of HFHM to appear. They make my day. I thank you for that.
