Story starts off promisingly enough but then loses cohesion midway through, causing me to lose interest.

Or maybe that person to whom you were responding DID read the "whole thing" and STILL felt it lacked cohesion. I know that somewhere around the middle, I had to stop and skim back to attempt to identify which characters were which, and I'm still not convinced I've got them correct or that some mistakes hadn't slipped past the author's editing process.

The thing is, if a person expresses their opinion about a story, and you attack them (like I'm doing now), the probability of your CHANGING their opinion is somewhere between a snowball's chance in Hell and the horse learning how to speak. I liked the story and if you decide to continue the story please don't do a partner swap like in the dream sequence. You could have the twins come and house sit for Ryan and Janice while they take a vacation(secret honeymoon) and have the twins discover pics that Ryan and Janice took of themselves up in the attic playroom and that leads to the twins becoming a couple. One last thing is I noticed you have kept it to just one couple in most of your stories and I am very thankful and probably why I enjoy your stories so much so please keep that going forward.
