I think I see where this improbable, but entertaining, tale is headed. I found the conversation between Eric and Lynn to be artificial. Eric was a bastard to the nth degree. Almost impossible to believe that he could be so cold and cruel to his lover of 8 years, and to have Lynn be so blindsided by it. I'll accept it, though, and keep reading.

Obviously you have on eor know one to have nailed him so perfectly. I have a 'special' dog too, so i know how tricky it woul be to capture them so well for someone who had never met them. And i absolutely love how you you blended two so different individuals without losing their identities. Skill like yours is rare and enjoyable for the readers. Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.
