I liked this very much. It's really in three parts - the party, the conversations between Jenny and her husband, and the visit to the pub. Of the three parts I felt that the first two were great, but was less comfortable with the third where the husband was basically sidelined and ignored.

I think the main reason I like the first two parts so much is because they ring true. I suspect that many women (even strait-laced married ones) have an exhibitionist streak in them. Basically for appreciating what was meant to be a light read. It continues to surprise me (I've said this before), quite how bloody serious so many readers are. They don't want you to write anything that pushes the boundaries of behavior just slightly, tut tutting at where it will surely lead, but would be bored out of their heads if you didn't. Do some of you out there really want us writers to tell you how we went out with our wives, had a nice drink, talked to some friends and then drove home and went to bed. Yes!
