It's about time Mike met Aoife. You've finally earned a score higher than 50, Vjax. The only thing holding back a 100 was punctuation, a problem you've had since the beginning: you don't place question marks where they should be. That is something your editor should have picked up on his own. I especially liked how you made Nicolas' victory a hollow one, which goes right along with a quote that I have: "There is no victory if your opponent doesn't care." You've captured the essense of that quote perfectly.
Never have I felt compelled to comment on a story on this site before, but you have definitely awoken more than just a need to express my awe and appreciation of your writing ability. I just wanted to say 'Thank you' for a great story and I eagerly look forward to the next one :D Laila-Rose
there was some grammatical errors here and there, but in my opinion thats not the point in storytelling.
And a good story you told us!I loved the build up and the raw power of the feelings.I also liked the way you left Nicholas feeling just as empty as Ian said he was in the speach
I left a comment asking for more because I did not see the last two chapters. I am sorry for that mistake. But I do hope that the second book is in the listing or coming soon. I have enjoyed read your writing. Please keep up the good work.
honestly I really am waiting for Tera to bite it. Don't like her. At all. She doesn't add to the story - in fact she detracts from it.
Great plot and character development. The internal
strengths and weaknesses of the protagonists and
how they interact was quite fascinating. This more
than made up for spelling & grammar problems
which riddled every chapter.
I'm looking forward to starting Book 2 (read Book 1
last 2 days). Liked the time shifts.
Dude it took this long for the story to actualy show magic and nor even that
All in all I like the story but it took 26 chapters to get to the end of part 1 and you didn't answer a single question, you left a cliffhanger and we dont even know anything about what is going on. By the last 3 chapters I was barely skimming the story
