The way you tell this story from both sides, it gives a wonderful perspective to it all. It really is a wonderful way of getting to know both characters. The story is both exciting and complex, already. You do set high standards and set high bench marks for yourself and others to follow. XXX

I love the age difference, and the size of the two main characters, I wonder if Lizzy will end up making a reappearance maybe a 3 some?

5 stars babe. Love it.

Ooh la la... OR How's the view from up there, Pixie (sorry, Elle)?

I know this chapter is Fabienne's but I'm still liking the image of Elle's/Pixie's sudden elevation to greater heights. As always, Pixie, I am finding this new story most enjoyable and look forward to seeing where you lead us.

Cheers to Fabienne!!! Such an inspirational achiever. I don't know if the "syndrome" is real or not, but Fabienne's refusal to allow it to define her or limit her is quite impressive. I found it disappointing how her family treated her, but unfortunately I also found it very believable. A full life filled with rewarding work and pleasurable companionship would be a fine rebuttal to her family and the doctors assumptions about what Fabienne's future would look like. Vive Fabienne!!!

Thank you Franziska xxx

Thank you, and yes, "Turner's syndrome" as it is called in this country is very real - and alas the reaction of families often mirrors that of Fabienne. I am so glad you are enjoying it, and than you for taking the trouble to comment so interestingly,

Fab for Fabienne!

Great to hear the back story of how Fab arrived at the school in England and her side of the meeting with Elle. We just now need to hear about how the two of them will get it together in the bedroom (or wherever they choose to finally have sexual relations!)

Thank you so much Wiz - and the next chapter, just submitted will reveal all xxx

I am so excited by the shift in this story. But, first, I wish I could remember my French courses; if Fab was my French teacher, I might have studied a great deal harder. Indeed, I would have found the class much more engaging.

I am not sure what I was thinking about this story. However, I enjoy both the perspective change and the difference in approach to a mutual self-discovery story. I appreciate that familiar themes are explored but with a fresh perspective. Pixie knows her material; she writes with authority derived from the personal journey shared by those of our sexual orientation. Still, beyond a rehash of the same story, she manages to find a way to make much of those journeys fresh, entertaining, and enlightening.

Darling Pixie, I see what you did here. Not only did you tell us Elle's story from Fabienne's perspective, you gave us the complete backstory about Fabienne, which is highly appreciated.

Her physique seems to be modelled after yourself, but I can assure you that petite women are considered very sexy in France. Also a French woman is not typically a stay-at-home mom. Most have professional careers - that's why they need au pairs to look after their kids.

Not quite sure about the time frame of the story. There is Skype and Marine Le Pen, but then the franc drops (the equivalent of a penny would be actually a centime - that works for the Euro too), and in the golden pre-Brexit period you wouldn't even need a passport to travel within the EU.

In Fabienne's story I detect the influence of Emily's Escorts. She reflects about prostitution. "Chienne Algérienne" sounds like an echo of "Paki Cunt" to me.

The French, even right wing, don't look down at the people of their former colonies so much, but they resent if those people don't recognize and adopt French culture as superior. After all, Algeria was considered integral part of France before 1962.

IMO the problems in France are more about cultural clashes and religious conflicts than pure racism. But then again, my cultural references might be a bit outdated, since it has been 30 years since I lived in France.

I would have loved a few more French sound bites, such as:

Bouffe ma chatte, petite saloppe

T'es mouillé comme une chienne en chaleur

Je vais t'enculer maintenant

Everything sounds sexier in French. I think the French invented the art of pussy eating. Fabienne has so much to teach us.

Thank you so much Mama S, it is fun to try to explore these themes from an other perspective - your comments were lovely xxxxx

Thank you, darling Amadeus - and I am glad you are enjoying the story. To this day, I have French friends who still talk, colloquially, about the "franc" - some things never change. And yes, you are right to trace a few influences from Emily's. I do so agree about everything sounding sexier in French xxxxx

I'm really enjoying this tale, Pixiehoff. I can remember the assistant we had at school when I was doing my 'O' levels (as they were called in that dim and distant past!). I remember that she smoked Gauloise cigarettes and when she spoke English she sounded very erotic. It was about this time that I began to realise that I liked (and fancied!) both boys and girls in my year. Time passes, but some things never change. I suppose it's a case of 'Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose'!!!

A very artful approach to story telling.

I like having Fab’s backstory and perspective.

And again, sexually delightful!

Another fun read…..

So many lovely little snippets of detail with throw away lines regarding "the syndrome" through to "The refund on the train" made this chapter so good. The repeat of the final line between the two chapters was very clever and very good.
