Women are likelier to be brain washed - they join cults at a higher rate than men. Hence, the higher "turn out" rate in prison. In addition, "turning out" someone is not done through seduction - it is done by beatings and rapes until the intended victim succumbs to the "new orientation". In other words trauma is one hell of a gate way drug.
