Is it wrong of me that I'm feeling disdain for Helen? I think she's acting like a pathetic worm. It is expecting too much that she would put up a better fight against Matthew? Being called an old bitch didn't stir up one little bit of righteous indignation, anger, or irritation? Girl, where is your inner bitch? *evil grin*<br><br>

This story seems to be heading for an inevitable ending -- Helen's soul totally destroyed in order for Matthew to feed. Hmmmm, will Matthew prevail? Will Helen be saved? I'll be tuning in to find out! Great stuff GA, truly a great Gothic read.

the only thing i disliked was that the woman has to get a disease.i know she's helplessly obsessed with her greed/lust for this unworldly monster.i just wanted to read more about his use and abuse of her mind and body. i want to experience her shame,her humiliation,as she submits to his bidding.fine details.really gripping word pictures.again nice work.next chapter please...
