What a wonderful, sweet story! It flows well and captures the respective moods of these two lovers. I am sitting here thinking Harold will have a wonderful reunion with June next year. I am not quite sure why you put this in the 70's, but it was done really well and generated a certain nostalgia for that period.

My first was a woman renting with her friend and son. I was not really interested but coerced her into taking me to her room for sex. I lived next door and only saw her one more time, socially. It ended poorly and I learned how to be less aggressive and more reserved.

As always another well written story! I enjoy your mature stories the most....

After reading several of your stories set in the early to mid 1970s I have to think that you were there with me, coming of age in a time of prog rock, Watergate, and newly legal abortion. It was an exhilarating and terrifying time to be young and you capture it perfectly. I would never want to live there again, but I’m quite happy to journey there with you for a visit. Thank you.
