Pretty good story. Real dumb move by Crawford threatening to boys girl friend. But not every story is perfect. The two old soccer moms were great. Always a god ending when the bad gays get more than they deserve

Very good start to the story, but I stalled when Karin started ordering the marshals when he didn't even know her.

In the middle of an investigation and an arrest, the marshal lets her do whatever she wants.

You've watched too many movies.

There are about 12, in my opinion, truly superb and highly talented writers in the LW aspect LE. When I first ventured into this venue, 2 years ago, I immediately note a marked dictomy in writing directions. One veered sharply toward page upon page of pornographic sex for which a weak story was present as a cheap conveyance. The other, such you, Ohio, BlackBrandi, Saddle Tramp, Just_Words, Todd and 6 others, wrote stories of passion, suspense, the real human condition or situations with which we can identify. Sex, when used, was done appropriate to the situation; a part of the fabric that wove the story.

B&K, all of you really, were a wonderful literary find.

For MY tastes, for me alone,I find most of LE,to be shallow, and for the most part banal trash. LW, in large part, helps redeem that.

Parenthetically,I want to acknowledge that most, sadly, not all of LW authors do give it their best and need to be acknowledged for an effort that harsh critics will not, themselves, even try. True, I think, a few contributors should never provide another offering however, that said, I can think of two authors who really listened to constructive criticism and their subsequent stories show HUGE improvement for it.

I love your stories…. Especially the Karin Roland ones. When I see the notifications for a new story from you, my heart races some, and I know I’m in for another captivating ride.

Really good, but I think Karin would have a serious legal problem detaining the guy when he came back in his truck. Yes, she could probably legally shoot him if he kept approaching after she warned him, but that's only if she was legally detaining him in the first place. She wasn't a cop and she had no legal right to detain him and ask him questions. It isn't illegal to drive around in a forest, bad guy or not. Other than that, the story was great, I love your stuff.
