Gaia's Champion Ch. 02

"Another thing I'm curious about. Why come all the way out here to dance like that? I'm sure if you were to move to a different part of the city, you'd find plenty of privacy to do what you like," Jason said.

"Well, it's odd, but when I'm up here, I feel like I can be myself for real, without hesitation or any inhibitions. It's like... I feel like a full and real woman when away from the city. I considered moving. But things are... complicated," she replied.

"Ah. Right!" Jason said, remembering what she had told him earlier about how things were at home. They toweled off and got dressed before making their way back to the campground. "One last thing. Who taught you to dance like that? I mean, you could easily get a job as a dance instructor! You move with a natural grace and rhythm."

"Well, thank you!" Amy blushed as she took the compliment. "Though I don't think my dancing is that good, maybe it's something I should think about. And about who taught me... well... my mom... taught me."

"Your mom taught you?!? If I ever meet her, I need to thank her for teaching you so well! Without your dad or brother present, of course," he amended. Laughing at the thought, Amy walked next to Jason, leaning into him as they walked back into camp.

The fire had died to where the large log that had been slowly burning was now a pile of smoldering embers. Jason figured they must have been gone for a while, at least a couple of hours. Not wanting the fire to die, he picked up two larger chunks of wood and set them atop the embers, igniting the fire to a slow burn once again.

He was really glad that it was really wet out over the last couple of weeks. The constant rain had done much to keep any potential fires from starting yet. He turned and saw Amy standing by her tent, ready to walk in, but she looked at him and beckoned him over. Trotting up to her, he stood right by her, wondering what was up.

"Do you think you could... stay with me tonight?" she asked, seeming bolder and more confident than she had been before.

"Well, what about propriety? You know that everyone else here has seen how you normally are so..."

"Fuck propriety and fuck what anyone else thinks. I've just been given the most life altering sex, having been fucked within an inch of my life. I want to cuddle with the man who did that for me," she stated, while grabbing him by the front of his shirt, drawing him close to her. Jason could tell by the look in her eyes that this wasn't a request.

"Just let me grab my sleeping bag and another couple pairs of shorts," he said as he kissed her cheek. Smiling beautifully, Amy let him go to collect what he needed. Bolting to his tent, he opened the flap and grabbed what he needed before zipping back over to Amy's tent. Though small, it would fit the both of them with room to spare.

Ducking inside, he spread out his sleeping bag and crawled into it, leaving his footwear outside. Amy did the same, but settling her sleeping bag over them like a blanket. Lying next to her lover, she cuddled up to him and snuggled into Jason's chest, closing her eyes and sighing blissfully. Jason followed suit, insanely happy with the turn of today's events as he too lowered his eyelids, embracing sleep.

The wolf spider noted that the Druid and the female had returned, looking pleased with themselves. If the smiles on their faces were anything to go by, they had just mated and enjoyed it. This particular arachnid had seen humans mating before, but none seemed quite as content as these two had been.

It also saw and felt the natural magics of Gaia sweep through here recently, engulfing everything in its wake. He guessed the Druid must have been responsible for it somehow, but would not complain about it. The feeling that came with the magic was of happiness, ecstasy, and contentment. Something that the forest itself hadn't experienced in some time.

It did its duty, though, keeping its eyes open and searching out for any threats. But now that the Druid had returned, its job was done. So, it found a wide enough branch to rest on and closed its eyes to sleep.

And thus ends chapter two of Gaia's Champion! I hope everyone enjoyed this one, as I found it quite fun to write! With Jason using his powers without being aware of it, there's bound to be some consequences from it! Will those consequences be good or bad? Well, for that answer, you'll have to wait for the next chapter, which is coming soon!!
