Anony - good question. Considering how many writers are british judging by the grammar (rumour vs rumor, favour vs favor) Maybe the men need to work on their sexual appeal to their own people. I'm American, so as usual for my people, I didn't even notice. If it makes you feel any better the father seems formidable and intelligent.

Personally i felt the characters had well developed separate personalities, and I'm not a great writer because I get people crossed once dealing with so many - or some personalities get bland.

How i wish Grier had impregnated the queen. Will there be another of this series?
