Thank for the Story

Thankyou for a wonderfull story and romance. It is a shame that the story had to end here. I loved every minute of all the 15 chapters and the side stories. I hope you can now write some of the other storied that are floating around inside your head. Thanks for the Ride. Cheers

Thanks fellas

Yeah, it just about kills me to wrap this series up. You get attached to the people your right about. Look for Samantha's spin-off chapter in the next week or so. I've got a couple of other new stories stewing away too.

What happened...

...to Stacey after Heather? I'd like to know that she found someone, too.

PacoFearPacoFearover 14 years agoAuthor
For Anony re: Stacey

Check "Bobby's Lesson" for a hint at what becomes of Stacey. She has a cameo of sorts at the end. I'm working on something from Stacey's point of view right now too. Might take a bit. I've got something big on the way. Thanks for asking! :)

Loving to loose.

You've turned a shy, self-conscious, loving and loyal eighteen year old woman into a loose-with-her-goose coed practically overnight. Continuity is as important to the story (in my opinion) as the sex and there's a bit of a break down towards the end of this series. You can't really call what has happened to Heather or "Peaches" character development, it's more of a sinking into sexual depravity.

Hero's fall wasn't quite as dramatic as Heather's but his was pretty bad too. He started off RELUCTANTLY fooling around with Heather because of age difference to fucking a married woman. So much for the continually north pointing moral compass...

Those issues aside, you did a wonderful job with Sam. Samantha's build-up was believable; almost life-like. Take someone who has massive emotional baggage, add kindness and stir; the end result is a bulb that slowly begins to blossom. Sam was a fantastic character and I hope to see more characters with as much thought and consideration put into them as you did with her.

I know a lot of people will disagree with this but I think the story probably could have ended at chapter 10 and been a solid read. Sometimes it's what you don't write that makes your story great. Thanks for the story Paco, I hope to see more from you.

P.S. I've read "words on skin" and "Stolen Kisses" 3 times each. 11/10 on both

Just a sec, almost finished with this soapbox...

Ah, there. *clambering awkwardly on top of a painstakingly crafted oak soapbox with maple and walnut inlays* Dear Galator: First, thanks for giving this all so much thought. I like me the thinkin' readers cuz they're loads more fun to play with. However, there's continuity and then there's stagnation. Across 15 chapters (roughly 400 pages of text) we have to get somewhere or people start rubbing their heads and wondering if anything is actually happening. Honestly, your "loose-with-her-goose" coed (i.e., Heather) is my "free-thinking, intelligent, independent, and passionate" young woman. We're looking at the same person but seeing her differently. For my part, I lose patience with young women who whimper, "But I really shouldn't" the twentieth time they crawl into a bed. But then, the number of times a gal whimpers, "But I really shouldn't" and it sounds endearing will vary depending on the listener. Perhaps you'd like to hear it much longer than I would. It's a simple matter of taste. For me, Heather's part of "Hero's Life" was about her using her head and her heart to spread her wings and figure out who she is. She opens up to Hero after nearly giving up hope on men and I can't say I blame her. As best I can tell, if you're young and female it's best to be either gorgeous OR smart. With both you're bound to get frustrated with what's out there salivating over you. I've watched it in real life and it's an old story so I can't pretend to lay claim to it. My attempt at a sweet twist here was that at some point you should have gotten the suspicion that Heather may very well have pulled Hero in for Samantha's sake as much as her own. That suspicion should have lingered. I'm just sayin' "feel the puzzle pieces." Galator, you might like my "Strawberries & Bubblegum" and "Peaches and Honey" too. Yeah, yeah, they're lesbian stories but they're about Heather before "Hero's Life" and I suspect you might like them because they show a more hesitant Heather. And thanks for the warm thoughts on Sam. I'm quite proud of her. I had this fantasy that someone might nominate her as a best heroine on Lit for 2009 but, alas, no luck there. Anyhoo, who wants an inlaid soapbox? I'll let it go cheap. :-p

Clarifying.

I feel as though you may have missed the point I was making so I'll try and clarify here. We all start off as virgins and as our sexual experiences increase we discover our likes and dislikes. I know people who went from vanilla sex to anal, then maybe some light bondage into shit that required a safe word. There were steps though, it didn't just happen over night.

*************************************************

Look at how long it took Samantha to kiss Heather, Heather to Seduce Hero and then Sam and Hero. You were steadily walking down the mountain and then you jumped off of a cliff. What took Heather, Sam and Hero 10 chapters to accomplish not to mention side-stories, spin-offs and fillers took the Aussie chicks two.

************************************************

I understand this site is for erotic literature but I got the distinct impression by chapter 12 you continued writing about these characters not because there was more to their story but because you were reluctant to give them up. The answer: massive FFFFM orgy. I've read a few of your comments where you've stated that you are disinclined to give up characters you've invested so much of yourself into but maybe it's time to wrap this story up.

************************************************

With a bit of spit and polish, chapters 1-10 are book worthy, maybe even best-seller. I can't speak for the world but Literotica readers think 92% of your submissions warrant a red H. Think of this as a really big focus group. We've read, we've rated and now we've spoken.

************************************************

If you'd like to debate this further, I'd much rather do so in a real-time environment I.E. instant messenger. Tag in a public comments section seems kind of juvenile. I'd also like to get your feed back on a piece I'm currently working on. As always, I appreciate/enjoy your contributions and urge you to continue to grow as an author.

Gotcha

Galator: I appreciate that you enjoyed chapters 1-10. There was a point to the later chapters, though, and it was one intended from the very beginning - to breathe life into Hero's romantic story from Ch. 01 because... well... let's just say it has pesonal significance to me and leave it at that, okay? :D The whole thing was supposed to be a giant loop leading back to that original story and leave all of the characters (well, except Glenn) better off when it was done. As far as my assorted comments about being reluctant to let characters go, I'll come clean on that... I had toyed for a very long time with the idea of having Hero die, in an epic way, in the last chapter. Wrote it out and everything. Couldn't bring myself to do it though. Chickened right out. I'm happy to talk more and to look over your draft. pacofear@gmail.com

Thank you

If it does turn out that there's a maximum occupancy for your skull, feel free to send a few overcrowded characters this way XD It may be a bit darker than they're used to over here, though, so don't be surprised if they come running back... Honestly I love your characters and all the interesting little nuggets that enrich your stories. You've given me interesting things to think about regarding moral compasses, sithiness, and giving texture to characters.

Some of my favorite moments from the series-Hero getting surprised by Peaches, Sam, and a strap-on dildo; finding Peaches under the Christmas tree; and the Aussies showing up at Heroes door as a result of an erotic story he wrote. That really brings the thing to life, you almost expect to find them posting in the Lit forums.

So anyway, jut wanted to say thanks for writing, you rock, and I'm looking forward to seeing your book published. And thanks again for your help on that story, it's posted and it's doing better than any of my others :D

I think Gladiator is wrong

In fact I think there is at least *ONE* more chapter left in this story. Now I admit that I skipped over the "Bubblegum" prequels to finish this story before going to bed, so it could be that my nag is covered there. As Heather is barely legal at the start of this story *AND* living at home, why don't we ever meet her parents? Has Hero ever met them? Has Sam? How do they feel about this arrangement? Do they know about it? She may be a very self aware and smart young woman, but *IS* only 18. I'm pretty sure her parents would want to know where she is at night, and if they don't I'd like to know how she came out so perfect growing up with messed up folks? Just sayin. But then I like really long stories...

An amazing beautiful story

I'm fine with you ending it here you completed the circle and connected all the wonderful characters together. I do hope you do another series that is similar to this. It was an amazing ride and your writing got continually better somehow. Your knack for connecting the people within the story and creating separate stories for them is very cool. The best parts for me were the descriptions like (like rubbing steak sauce on myself and parading back and forth etc) lol.

Do we get to see if Tracy's love triangle works out or if she is going to return to peaches and Sam for the love she deserves? Great work my friend just pls never stop writing!

Appreciation

Thank you Pacofear, I enjoyed your "Hero's life" series very much. You're a talented writer of erotica- it's going to be difficult going back to sub-par authors.

I had some qualms about the sweat fetish and can't relate to an incest fetish, but the rest of your writing has really been wonderful. I even learnt a few things about my own favourite fetish, things I hope to gain as skills.

I had a few questions: did Hero ever have a real name (I spent the series imagining him Asian, though I know he wasn't intended to be) and are you a female, or just a brilliant writer? I ask that second question because your female characters all don't mind a continuous assult on their clits, whereas most females want more penetration in the mix... maybe that's just my experiences talking, though.

Anyway, thank you for a wonderful few days of reading all the intricate material you have about these multidimensional characters- I hope you've got novels planned, because the world always needs some extra lovin'.

I have rarely if ever enjoyed any erotic stories as much as I have the 16 chapters of 'Hero's Life'. Your imagination is remarkable and the quality of your writing puts yourt work head and shoulders above the rest.

Almost Perfect

For the most part, I loved nearly every part of Hero's Life. A while back I read the story with the three of the main characters and Bobbie, and there were parts I dudn't like, mostly related to Sam. She seemed very... I'm not sure. Hypocritical, I guess. She willingly went down on Bobbie and had him fuck her ass, but wouldn't let him fuck her pussy (at first) because she was in a love triangle with Hero and Peaches. Double standard, it seems to me. Also, I didn't like that the main character was nicknamed Hero, though I got on board with it during the main storyline.

In terms of Hero's Life, it started off great, when it was just Peaches and Gero. When Sam came in, and she willingly let Hero fuck her (in the ass) I nearly stopped reading right then and there; I am 110% against cheating - no ifs, ands, or buts.

The disproportionate body parts was kinda weird too. I know a girl or two with Peaches' proportions, but very, very few. If you were going for the theme that Hero was disproportionately large (height) compared to the girls as a hero figure, good job.

7 inches around!?!? Har Har Har. A soda can is a little under 5 inches long and 8 inches in circumference. Any ladies reading this: how many of you think a virgin vagina can take a what is basically a sightly thinner, more than slightly longer soda can? How about a virgin ass? That's what I thought.

My last problem came up near the end: during the last chatter, I skipped the sex. It was getting pretty darn repetitive, and without Tracy or Lisa, it was boring.

Apart from those gripes (and some I wrote in Sam's story with her uncle) this story was fan-freaking-tastic. Great job and thank you do much for the experience

AnonymousAnonymousabout 12 years ago
AMAZING

I thought every story you wrote that included these three was amazing even the separate mini stories!!!! I have to say though I would like to see a few more stories with these characters!!! What would be interesting to see next would be for sam to finally tell peaches the whole truth about what happened with stephen and with the guy that killed him!! I feel like peaches deserves to know!!! Truthfully I think its kind of unfair how sam told trace but won't tell peaches! If I were you I would even make it so that peaches gets angry with sam not the fact of what sam did its just that peaches feels hurt that sam wouldn't tell her such an imporant event that happened in her life but she went and told trace!!! It could make for an interesting cople of stories I think!!!! Any one agree?????

Secrets speak volumes...

Sorry Anony, but the fact that Sam and Hero agree to keep Sam's secret is one of my favorite aspects of their relationship. Each feels an urge to protect Peaches in their own way. Their estimation of Peaches as being too sweet for such things says something about all three of them, or so I hoped. And if this secret-keeping business bothers you, the next installment I've been noodling with for awhile will throw you into fits; Sam's pregnant and she's keeping quiet about it.

Oh man that's crazy!!! All I can say Paco is I can't wait to read it when your finished!!!

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 12 years ago

i've reread this series three times and i want to read about peaches and sam more- they're my favourite of all the characters.

although... not a fan of incest, at all. but everything else is amazing.

KojoteKojotealmost 12 years ago
Sooo...

I took my time to read this whole series. Must have been three days...

As always it's hard to compress the thoughts on 15 instalments into one comment without overloading. But there are some things I just have to say.

First of all you really managed to keep the characters separate. Which is sometimes difficult. But you managed. They all had their different feel.

You did get a bit repetitive at times, though. For once because you did this small summaries and refreshed the visual details oft he two women at the beginning of each chapter and then for you specific likes and kinks. But I doubt that anybody could imagine new games and ways to let them make love or have sex over and over.

And it doesn’t really matter. What matters is that you managed to actually tell a story without interrupting the constant eroticism of the whole thing much. There wasn’t much ‘normal activities’ in between and curiously it didn’t get old. That’s amazing.

Then there is the nice habit of yours to spin off interesting parts of the story. I really like that and have yet to read some of them. Seems that most of your stories center on the three people I came to like. Cool thing! ;-D

And last, but not least I really like the sense of humor shining through your style of writing.

So… I’m no accountant, but that for me that makes an amount of 75 stars for the whole series… ;-D

Thank you for sharing this!

Thank you

Goodness, I took two days to read the whole 15 chapters, and thank you. Oh how I wish there was more. I'm going to miss your characters, the way these three are separate people with their own stories that fit together so well, the emotion and eroticism is constant through the whole thing. I read the other stories before this and i think that made it better.

From closed brokennes to open happy wholeness I loved this series

I thought your understanding of Sam was amazing, I know because that's how I think. the fierceness and fluidity of motion (I'm a dude, but I was raised with two dancers and we combined fighting and dance so there's another reason I like her). and her protectiveness and darkness. Well done.

once again, thank you for the ride.

It's been one hell of a ride.

I have held off commenting on the separate chapters of Heroes Life until I got through all of them.

The story itself, and the characters, have developed in ways I couldn't have imagined. And I loved every bit of it.

Paco stated that there was one more spin-off chapter he was working on, but the last story I see posted by him was in early 2011. I can only hope he's still around, and gets to finish it, because I know it would definitely be worth reading. As all of his stories have been.

Paco, my best to you, as well as my thanks.

You are one hell of an author.

Aside from this, I don't know what else to say. I'm still digesting 16 chapters. A story I know I will be reading again. I tend to do that with stories that are worth it, and these most definitely are.

Five Stars for all the chapters involved.

MarshallaMarshallaabout 7 years ago
Correction!

I see that Paco has posted in the comments section some time after 2011. Good to know your still around Paco but I have one question:

So where are the rest of the chapters?!?

Really looking forward to them.

MarshallaMarshallaalmost 7 years ago
Just finished the series for the second time ...

... and loved it every bit as much as the first time.

Still hoping to see "Love's Last Little Leap" listed here sometime in the near future.

If I could vote 5 Stars I would, all over again.

AnonymousAnonymousover 6 years ago
Missing them already

Looking through the comments below, the author wrote that he was ‘noodling’ with an idea for the next instalment – Sam gets pregnant and keeps quiet about it (in 2012).

In case anyone is interested, ‘Love’s Last Little Leap’ apparently became ‘Peaches and Honey Part 2’, according to the author.

I do feel that I want to know more about these people. I curse PacoFear because he has introduced me to them, then taken them away from me just when I was getting used to them, but if he has decided to throw in the towel because of the constant demand for more chapters in this series then it would not surprise me at all. I hope that is the reason he has not written anymore stories, because the other options are just too sad.

And sadly I think Hero’s Life finished not with a bang, but with a whimper. At the end Hero himself is not even there, a bit like the prologue. But the series I enjoyed very much; had it been one long story it might have gone for possibly 32 pages (rough estimating, I’m afraid) and how many people would read something that long on this site?

I don’t know how many read the authors biography but I have long had the impression that many more of you don’t than do, so I apologise to those who do but here is the reading order that PacoFear suggests:

Hero's Life Ch. 00 (as a sort of prologue that teases the future. It was my first post. It's a bit rough around the edges.)

Strawberries & Bubblegum (as backstory for Heather)

Saving Berry (more backstory for Heather)

Hero's Life Ch. 1-8

Sam's Short Dark Tale (backstory for Samantha)

Peaches and Honey (backstory from Heather explaining how Heather and Samantha came together)

Hero's Life Ch. 9-14

Her Uncle's Secret (more backstory for Samantha)

Peaches and Honey Ch. 02 (backstory from Samantha explaining how she and Heather and Hero came together from her point of view)

Hero's Life Ch. 15 (Heather's narrated conclusion of the arc of Hero's Life)

Bobbie's Lesson (more like a sequel)

Berry's Second Chances Ch. 1 & 2

I don’t know about anybody else but for me it is a little late now!

Peace.

Great writing, wonderful story

I have read all of these stories now regarding the triangle, including the spin offs, (not always in the correct chronological order,) and your writing has progressed as the series has moved along. In fact, I'd say that you are probably one of the best unpublished writers that I have had the pleasure of reading.

There has been the odd typo, but generally the grammar is correct and the stories flow well, which isn't always the case with amateur writers. Do you post non erotica elsewhere, or is this strictly your forte?

I sincerely hope you can bring an up to date version of our happy lover's to life soon - with ALL of the players from both continents and all of the connections.

A look back on how all of the love and healing has gone and how they all may have helped others heal - the idea of someone like Sam taking what she learned as she healed and passing it on in ways that allow her, Heather and Hero to continue to show others that love is both simple and complex all at once.
