After all, there's three metal bands called Sluagh and none called Slaugh (while we're at it, there's also the Cockney Rejects but I don't think they're on the same page. There is a "Caretaker's" that's supposed to be a plural and not a possessive on the same page as the Sluaugh, i.e. page 4).

Absolutely brilliant! The twists and turns and interactions of mythical creatures from such a wide ranging mythologies and ethnic legends is simply captivating. I can’t wait for the next chapter!

I’ve been following these since the beginning and 90% have been simply outstanding, there have been one or two “breathless” moments or where some of the favorite characters have disappeared for a while, but this installment especially has been right up there with the very best.... totally engaging! Even the eroticism was there (looking forwards to Beth having sex ... hope it’s nice and descriptive).

This is one of my fav stories on lit. As always, it has perfect flow, and you can't help but follow along like your past of the story. The thing I love most is how many tangents the series contains. You have so many possibilities for spin off stories. From Lily and get travels, to each individual character you can do a pre story. Even the evil wizards holds a possibility of a back story. 5* once again.

The only bad part of this story is I got to read 32 chapters back to back now I have to wait to get more story is so enveloping I never want it to end

Hitting the underlie court was not a good thing, very nice depiction of the evilness lurking there. This was a very good continuation of this story, getting more interesting as it goes.

I still can't fathom how this story just gets better and better. New, interessting creatures, even though all except for Quetzalli are major assholes, and a gigantic task for Mike to accomplish.

And to think that in the beginning of HFHM Cecilia wasn't really seeing eye to eye with Mike and that that relationship and magic came a long way since then ... just fantastic. This story really is better than every printed or digital book I have ever read. BRAVO! (a very unsarcastic one ;)

Wow, the land of the fae has long been a favorite fictional destination and spot of exploration for me, and this chapter gave such heaps and spades of fun!

The characterization of the unseelie, and in fact, all secondary characters continues to be amazing!

Unlike a few readers, I really like the development between Beth and Mike, not the least of which it shows flaws for him, and just how deep his own personal traumas affect him. He's better, but infinitely more relatable because of his internal difficulties.

Poor guy still hasn't been to visit his Irish island castle, dangit.

This chapter was very good. I especially liked that you avoided explicitly pointing out how the gnome was helping them (had to reread a few paragraphs to confirm what was what).

However, there was one word that pulled me right out of the story: “dress”. Beth thought to herself that her dress was ripped. She was wearing a blouse, blazer and skirt. She’s a lawyer, someone who has to be very particular about what words she uses. I just can’t see her saying dress when she presumably meant blouse. Mike asks if they should fix her blouse, so I’m assuming that’s what got ripped. Perhaps you were trying to avoid saying “blouse” twice in quick succession. If so, better to have Beth think blouse, and have Mike say shirt or top or something.

Yes, I know it’s a little thing, but it really did make me go back to the preceding chapter to double-check your description of what she was wearing. Please fix this before this (hopefully) comes out as a published book!

Great chapter, the section where Beth told Mike, about the island he owned with a castle had me laughing out loud!

With Mike digressing about owning a dragon and having to get a dumpster filled with cat litter and needing to scoop out the dumpster with a "front"(end loader) was funny. I do not remember Mike rambling on like that before, it was pure genius to put that in there.
