I wasn't really a fan of Beth before, but she seems a lot more likeable in this chapter (and I agree, very unfair to have stopped her and Mike before doing it!) Loved the sexy and hot scene with Naia in the tub (and very curious about what Yuki obviously wanted to say) Loved the many tender moments between all the characters living lives instead of always fighting battles. Some speculating Lily is pregnant? Don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled if that were so, but I seem to recall when Lily was made into a succubus, her uterus was either removed, or something else happened to cause her to never be able to have kids. However, with all the magic flying around, who knows what could potentially happen!?? Miss Annabelle knows!! Awesome story.

The Lily scene is the weakest part of this otherwise great chapter. It's an unfortunate break, in a lighthearted Christmas chapter. If you've read D&H you've read a scene like that 10 times over. Nothing new happened. Lily didn't meet any challenge, didn't come to a realization or learn anything. Maybe something will come of it in upcoming chapters but it didn't advance the plot.

I totally expected the snowball fight at the beginning.

It's enough of a trope that it was obvious to me from the start.

Wasn't expecting the ending though, hah!

@writerannabelle, finally Mike and Beth would be together, Honestly, I was considering on give up the story, not because it becoming bad, but because it should be harem story, not revers-harem, nor cuckolding, which happened sometimes from book 02, obviously I am talking about Beth (she has sex with any males but not Mike even cuckold Mike when she had sex with Nia), if Beth must have sex with the others (not including Mike) male, or female, please don`t describe that sex scenes (just mention it). Maybe some would find that the only male (Mike) has sex scenes in the story is boring, however I think the majority will enjoy that, as it is the normal thing in the harem, we picture ourselves as the MC not any other males.

Not every single scene has to advance the plot. For example, I'd like to see more fun sex scenes between Mike and the girls. Even if it doesn't specifically "advance the plot," they do 2 things: 1. Include more girls in sexy scenes we haven't seen frolic with Mike in a long time, e.g. Ratu, that otherwise get little screen time, and 2. Provide more personal and emotional binding time for them. Well, those kids of things "advance the plot" too. I think the uncomfortable scene with Lily in this chapter helps establish that she's really working for justice by eliminating the REAL monsters, unlike maybe in her past as a succubus. How's that for plot advancement?

I stopped reading a long while back (maybe around the end of book 2 or in the middle of book three?) for the simple fact that it was obvious it would be ages before Beth and Mike got together. I didn't really want to go through reading how Beth was having sex with others left and right while her and Mike didn't do anything for some reason or the other. The biggest reason for this is that 9 times out of 10 when an author does this, when the two characters finally get together/have sex it's a very underwhelming and dissatisfying thing. It happens once, it's short, and its vanilla af when 99% of the story they were going tits to wall with everyone else constantly with the most unique and hot sex one can think of.

I haven't caught up at all, I come in every once in a while and search the pages with the keyword Beth to see how things are going. It's quite something that I happened to do so with this chapter just released. It was the last page, so I wasn't expecting much to happen except the beginning of them having sex, but instead I was met with more postponing. Which is fine, but again this is a massive build up. From some of the comments here I can see it has been going on for a while even without having read the whole story up to this point.

So my point is, I seriously hope this story doesn't go the 9 times out of 10 way and creates this insane hype only for the final delivery to fall flat. One sex scene, missionary position, thank you and good bye.

I'm not invested in this (thanks to distancing myself from the work as to not risk being disappointed) but it would still suck.

I love the way this book started there is so much fun and much needed good feelings after all that happened with the Jersey Devil, definitely appreciate the update on the kids i was worried they would have been forgotten about but thats a foolish concern on my part your an amazing author an i cant tell you how much i look forward to each and every chapter you submit!

After this introduction to their new adventure, I am really fascinated by what could lie ahead for Mike and the gang. It might be really good for this one to be a bit lighter in tone than the last.

I hope we will see something with Dana and Quetzalli with Dana's parents, would be a really cool perspective to have.

Also: Mike is finally a father! Hopefully his dad meeting Santa will give Zel's foal something to love about Mike.

Not quiet sure how I feel about Beth coming on to Mike. It had a strange vibe to it, but maybe that's just me. I really like them as individual characters and Beth's toughness (expecially how she delt with the angel last book), but them coming together kind of feels forced. I hope this was a one-moment-and-gone type situation and not something either really puts their focus on.

But a good chapter for a hopefully very merry next part of the saga.
