Aww, this was a really sad story... Very well-written though. Eventually, humanity will ruin the Earth, but hopefully it won't be today... Enjoy every day you can, because you'll never know just when you'll take your last breath in this life.

Nice job

Well done. :)

Although technically very well written, the characters' hopeless existence in the face of eminent extinction makes me wonder why they would bother spending a year jetting around the globe burning untold quantities of fossil fuels rather than just ending it all. I don't know, maybe they just wanted to end the world sooner for everyone else? Not trying to be (completely) snarky--I really just don't get it.

So Beautifully Sad!

I'm just at a loss for words. Your latest story intro pointed me here, and thank you for that! I will soon be reading the others you mentioned, then the new one.

Thank you again, I'm usually a sucker for happy endings, but sometimes a good cry is good, too!

Excellent skill.

In spite of your propensity to write super bittersweet stories that make me sad, I can't help but admire the beauty and romanticism of your writing. Though Heather and Norah were at times bitter (and rightfully so), the love story between them shines through. As always, five stars for the precision of your writing, and for the deftness with which you treat your characters.

Skillfully written

Heather might be a bad woman in all your other stories but her character here did well, she touched my heart with the help she rendered to Noah. Good job.

White lies was not completed. Awaiting chapter 2 Pls.

More bitter than sweet but a symphony.

As someone said before, when mine day comes I'd like to meet it as beloved and cared as she did. Thank you!

**Trigger Warning**

It's a good story - well written. Sad, bittersweet. But strong. The characters have such strength.

Unfortunately, there's also a sexual assault, with reference to it being ongoing sexual abuse. Be careful, if that sort of thing gives you problems. I really wish the author would've placed a warning; it's not like they didn't already have opening comments. I wouldn't have read it, if I'd known.

All in this world is half of a whole light and dark hope and despair beauty and ugliness love and hate freedom of nature and the cruelty of man. We all must fight small battles so as a whole we can desperately try to be better. This is a story with tragic beauty. Thank you.

Depressing as hell, particularly having just experienced the Northwest heat dome of 2021.

I was glad that Heather and Norah experienced love before Norah left this world. Now, Norah is at peace; no more pain.

Loved it, thanks a great storey. Didn't realise men could do such a good lesbian story so very pleased to be corrected.

Speechless and tears streaming down and the heart is bleeding …. Helplessness at the sight our human society is creating …. You touched so many forbidden heart wrenching thematics …. Wow, this was one extraordinary tale

To give love though you must have love own it in body mind and soul

Love is Love, for each being as well as this blue planet , for everything

Burnt out, as you wrote it Norah is, this is being a lifeless shell our life will be after we realize that if you fight for nature or for consciousness or a awareness in all our actions, that nothing will change or has change in a retrospective .... Consciousness as taught in the Buddha's teachings, which would make us truly mindful is not compatible with humans .... BUT HUMAN GREED DESTROYS EVERYTHING .... And that is the human factor that we cannot change, now that we opened the Pandora’s box the www Internet and so we will go on without respect and compassion and love, because we are being corrupted .... the opposite of loving and mindfulness is happening, as it has been for millennia, WAR and WAR what is it good for? Absolutely nothing, say it again …. But again and again and again we celebrate WAR

It's so sad to have the knowledge that for sure I myself have destroyed another being because I wasn't mindful enough, so I'm a sinner like everyone else (being as in every creature living on earth)

Shame that I participate in the destruction

“Negativity is the modern day realism” - Heather’s statement …. Talking about the facts has nothing negative to do with, yes its just reality and most fear this

Still speechless
