Finally, around five Janet said she had to leave to pick up their children from her mothers. When Carl suggested he give Janet the ride no one said at thing. Least of all Janet. She simply gathered her things, looked at her ex and said, "I'm ready when you are". With that they said their goodbyes leaving Dan and Carrie alone in the room.

Carrie turned to her husband and said, "So now what? What do we do now Danny?"

Looking over at Mrs. Wilson, Dan replied, "Hell if I know Carrie. We could go pick up the kids from your moms, go home and watch a movie tonight? I really don't know. Got any ideas?"

"No, for tonight that's a good idea. We can spend all day Saturday around the house all together. No plans, just whatever. Sunday, I want us all to go to church. Please..."

Dan nodded his head thoughtfully in consideration then smiled gently, "Fine, sounds like a plan."

"Danny, before when I asked about we are we going to do now, I was asking us, our marriage."

"Carrie, I told you before that I don't know. What I do know is we need to take a break from all this nonsense and not talk about it anymore. It's time to move on and start something new. As far as I am concerned, we lived happily ever after."

And so they did.

I was so into this series right until the end. Somehow we ended up with details of Janet and Carl getting back together; which basically did nothing for me.

We never got closure for Carrie and Dan. All we know if that Carrie screwed up and pushed Dan. Then Dan pushed back to get revenge. Then Dan gets busted getting ready to cheat.

There wasn't anything resolved as if they were going to live life together as friends or as spouses.

This really needs an ending telling where they ended up long term.

Loved the story, right till then end. The Carl being Janet's ex didn't make sense, especially as it was thrown in at the end, and actually probably asked more questions about Carrie and her 'fantasy'. Dan was no where near closure, even before this. It's like the author just ran out of steam; maybe someone fresh needs to re-write 'Chapter 6'

Well, I don't think that ending solved anything for Carrie and Dan. It seems like a pretty strong possibility that the reason Carrie became so obsessed with the interracial porn videos was more than just her sexual arousal when watching the videos. She was & had obviously been attracted to Carl for 2 years - meeting frequently, even having coffee and lunches together - while never mentioning Carl to her husband at any time? And somehow Carrie kept her children from mentioning to their Dad that during their frequent trips to the park they would met & play with two black friends their age & their father? How did that happen without Carrie specifically telling her children not to mention Carl & his kids? The 2 year relationship between Carl & Carrie also explains how Carrie was able to find a 'suitable' bbc stud for her fantasy in just a matter of days after asking her husband, Dan to film it. Finally, Dan's fear that Carrie had so made up her mind about fulfilling her interracial fantasy; if he said no, she would have gone behind his back and done it with Carl anyway was legitimate. Bottomline, this 'perfect' marriage which through 6 chapters doesn't appear to have been that perfect is doomed. Dan will never get the images out of his mind ever!

An end without a real resolution. A good story in general. I enjoyed it. But the end would have needed more substance.

Five chapters to create a tangled mess of a relationship and a single chapter of happy ever after when the tangled mess wasn't even addressed. It's an author's dilemma and why I still have 10+ stories not ready for publication.
