This chapter is fantastic. I'm not one for long drawn out foreplay, but this was amazing. The assault in the dark room especially. Just delicious, and so beautifully written. I've read the story in the past and am re-visiting. The twists and turns in the story are such that it is like new every time. The humanity of Leonn, so weak and so powerful simultaneously is captivating. He shows the reality of maddening animalistic desire bringing a man to his knees. While some stories would have a perfect captor in completely control who would withstand months on end of denial, Leonn echoes a more realistic man that has a breaking point. What is so beautiful in this story is that his control is unexpectedly fragile due to his love that develops for Bella. This tale is suspenseful, erotic, and for lack of a better word, exquisite. Thank you for your brilliance!

I honestly can't even make it halfway through the first page. She says that she doesn't want to be there anymore (DUH!), and suddenly he's willing to wait for her. Oh how sweet and positively unrealistic. I also can't finish the rest of the series.

When he spoke with Marie, he realised (at least, partly) that he feels strongly for her, and since he's the kind of guy who doesn't get off on raping unwilling girls, but needs them to enjoy it on some level, he wants her to want him, on the level of her mind, as well. And as he feels what he feels for her, he's giving her some respect and is leaving her alone.

But oh, the scene in the dark room with him not being able to control himself. Mmm. Hotness! A man like Leonn not being able to control himself is a beautiful thing. (as is a jealous Leonn, but you knew that :)

Your writing is great as usual, but the character behaviour seems problematic when it comes to consistency. She says she doesn't want to be there and suddenly he is all gently coaxing when just two chapters ago he beat her into submission in the dungeon? He told her to never cover herself in the chamber and now suddenly he lavishes gowns on her? He says he'll wait for her to come to him in free will, but keeps pursuing her and teasing her physically? Worst of all, she has no spine and actually wants him after he's raped her countless times. I have lost respect for her when she gave in and said she wanted him inside. It would have been much more satisfying if she held out until he was crawling on his knees in front of her, apologizing for all the rapes and proclaiming his undying love...
