The story was different from others by zenmackie. I liked the setting in a time long before cell phones and other technology. Disturbing, but interesting, subplot with Chrissy. The two protagonists, Jane and Peter, are wonderfully odd, each in their own way, and compel the reader to root for them. They largely possess the naivety that comes with lovers still in their teens, yet they are wise beyond their years in other respects. Thanks, zenmackie, for a touching story.
