Thanks this really made me feel good. The timing and pacing were just right and the story matter was excellent.
Thankyou
Another winner! Of the the 52 stories posted by you on Literotica, I have rated 49 of them as 100. Only the two about six months to live did I think were not worthy of you. Please continue to share your stories with us.

A lot of sadness, but more warmth at the end!
Great job!

DG:
You've always written readable and thoroughly enjoyable stories. This is no exception. Thank You. Ronnie W.
Couldn't have been any better after the hard knocks for both. they'll have a great life together, all four of them.
Keep writing this type of story, it's good for the heart.
A very romantic story. With a little bit of the perils of Pauline.
This story does typify what pop always said. Never screw a girl you didn't feel some love, respect for. Or always have protection.
Really enjoyed this tale! Sad, funny, loving romantic.
There is something about an innocent little baby girl that softens the heart of any man. Heart warming story, thanks for sharing it.
Great Story DG
What a heartwraming tale. Sometimes in the scheme of life there are rewards for enduring the difficult times. These two both endured some personal hell and ended up with a wonderful life.
He contributed greatly to his own hell and she was just the innocent victim in hers, but together they will indeed have heaven on earth.
Thanks for this story. It made my day.

DG what more can be added to the other comments you have received. This was a great story as always. Thank you.
Great romantic story...I didn't cry but sure smiled at the end. And they only "lost" 5 years (instead of 7 or 10 or 20).
Nothing to say ,everything has already been said by others.Would it be OK if I said brilliant to add to all the other comments? It is going to take a miracle of a story to stop this one winning.
I write a lot of stories and for an amature I have a lot of fun. I like to write about real life and the way I see it. This story felt special to me. Really special It made me fill with emotion as I was writing it. I am so glad that you the readers have felt it too.
The editors of this story felt it to. They are two of the best.So again from the bottom of my heart, 'Thank you for reading my stories.' Writing is half the fun the comments and feedback is the other.
With sincere appreciation.

This has to be one of the best, most heart-rending stories I've read on this site
- to quote from Julia Roberts. What else can I say? Thank you.
p.s. Unlike the previous reader, who got so excited that he kept the rating on default, despite praising the story - I am not forgetting the rating. Here goes - a resounding 100!
I liked the story. What caused me to give it a lower score was your dialogue. Continually you used "said", to the point that I cringed each time I saw it. Try doing something else to tie your dialogue to your characters. Other than that small criticism, a well done story.
A heart-warming tale full of heartache and love. He was the master of his own misery while she was the innocent victim of hers as was little Carly! With the love that they have for each other, they have found, together, the heaven that they deserve. A really, really wonderful and superbly crafted tale DG - it was only improved by the lack of sex!
You knocked it out of the park again. You seem to have great insite. Loved this story.

You write some remarkable stories--thanks so much. The way you write makes the reader feel like they are watching and feeling the writing unfold--great talent!
Thanks,
Sam
I thought this was a Porn site, not a CORN site. A mundane bit of fluff, but; (as always) well enough written to make it palatable.
D G u r the best author on literotica, ill even go one better, i enjoy your stories better than anyone else i read. THANKS A LOT
Give DG Hear the Golden EIW Pen, (excelence in writing)sweet, tender, real, actually better than real life, which is more like the first two marriages. It is a nice tale and I hope someone's life really was as blessed in love as those two were. And I appreciate that you deemed to keep the sex out of it, in this case it was most appropriate to do so. Overall well done.
and I thank you for it.I have read it several times and enjoyed it each time. But I wonder....the scores on the "top list" are as high as other categories but the number of votes is so low. What kind of readers do we have here who flock to "loving wives" but seem to ignore this category. Some if not most of the best tales are here along with mature and romance. Too bad. Their loss. Regardless, thank you for the effort you put into all categories. I enjoy them all. Jim
Man you had this 62 yr. old grabbing Kleenx, Great Read, keep up the great work.
Don't know where you came up with this story it was almost as if I was watching it on one of those women’s TV movie shows on cable or satellite. With a little more filler you might could produce it and sell it to them. LOL the only problem is they guy usually is the bad guy and the women would have to be the hero. So you would have to kill off the real mother while she was still in the hospital. You would also have to build her up so there would be a little more sympathy for her. Can't have any women look bad only men. LOL Good story
Why do I continually beat myself over the head by reading these stories?
Anything with a distressed baby or abused child or a child discovering a mom or dad that they didn't know they had just turns me into a pile of blubbering goo.
Complex story l9ne with intersecting stories - not just linear or parallel story telling -
Good people in the end do well the pothers drift away - the premie in the hospital part was pretty well done for someone I doubt has ever been in a neonatal ICU - you got the emotions down perfectly.
I read this a couple of months ago and I think I enjoyed it even more
this time. It is an extremely nice story!

She will get my steel toed boot in the face if she starts throwing "pedals" at me! Bicycle parts fucking hurt when thrown at you!
I was sitting up, trying to get sleepy enough to go off to bed. I picked this story at random and it did the trick. I'm sleepy now, and I loved the story. I'll go off to sleep with a smile on my face. Pleasant dreams? You bet!
Once again, thank you.
I've said it before and I will say it again, your stories are brilliant! I don't get much time to read but I do like a good time reading the book or story online. I have to say
you've hit a home run with this one!
Thanks for sharing this Fantastic story with us!
Love you all! GREG.
OH 100 % OF READING ENJOYMENT BYE.
Don't know many pretty words other than "ONE OF THE BEST". 5*
Love wins out. Such a beautiful heartfelt story. It was wonderfully told and the reader can tell when love did happen. There was no need for (like most stories) graphic sex. This tale is one of the best that I have ever read here. A true classic. Being a former drug user, that type of love NEVER lasted. It wasn't until I got sober did I find my soulmate, my true love. Our love lasted till she died. I know that this story was fiction, but it read like "real life". Great job...
This is at least a three hanky story that just reads of love, hope and family. My Grandson was a preemie, he weighed 1 pound 4 oz. I actually got to do what they called "kangaroo care", where we would hold the baby on our chest skin to skin. It must have worked because he is 21 years old now and although still a little smaller than other guys his age, he's doing well.
I think the part of the story from where Larry takes Carly to meet Julie and her Mom, is absolutely the best part of the story. Thanks
A masterpiece...because the third part of the story is based on love ... on real love. Undoubtedly, a 6*+++. Thanks.
BJ
One of the best love stories you have written so far. It is well written, with a storyline that flowed well from beginning to end. The love story between Julie and Larry was a masterpiece and ended perfectly with Julie adopting Carly and then being able to have another child, what more could anyone wish for than that, a wonderful happily ever after. Well done. 5 stars
Nearly 400 stories! This one from 18 years ago. The author is a genius with onw of the greatest understanding of lfe I have ever encountered. This an excellent example of his work!
