When the van stopped at the gate Lee noticed that the guard standing in the doorway of the guard building looked like the same one that had seen him pick up Kat and Pam. He saw Lee and came to attention, snapping a fine salute. Lee returned it.

Both women kissed Lee and walked onto the base. Lee smiled all the way home.
