Really a refreshing tale...

Nicely written story about finding the one good woman he should have ended up with long ago. But if he had, would he have been as successful in business?

Home Run

Sometimes it's just a little happy story that hits the spot. Well Done.

Pleasant read, but not very exciting. I agree with the prior comment: would Gary have been as successful if he had found Charlotte earlier?

Almost guaranteed Romantic hit,

when MGM posts one! I really enjoy this author's work!

Thanks for not posting in LW

The cowards over there would bleat endlessly that "he was a wimp" and vote 1* because no women were maimed or killed. I enjoy your writing immensely primarily for one reason: Economy of words.

A lesser writer would string this out to fill 12 damn pages. Your ability to tell the same story in half the pages distinguishes you among your peers. Shakespeare said "Brevity is the soul of wit" so thank you for being brief.

Nice story....Gary has a fountain of perserverance and it..

...paid off...but too bad the majority of people/women here were so shallow-it reminded me of something,um...oh yeah,-real life!

Wonderful ending -

Painfully like so many real life people there -

The deceit, the lack of respect, the unconscious neglect - it seems to be everywhere -

Go back to your roots, find the place to land - I wish it were that easy for us all -

I love happy endings...

There is a lot of pain out there, for both sexes. It is always good to see things end right sometimes. Yes, I realize that it is just a story.

6', 186#, published writer. I have worn many hats. As a young man I was crazy, carefree and making wads of money. Then along came a messed up war and I was cannon fodder. From there I came home even crazier, and survived a 120 MPH crash which got me 15 years in a wheelchair...
