I've said it before and I'll say it again, you've truly created a masterful tale here. This sequence is especially powerful and moving: "But then I realized. If he needed my kidney, I'd give it to him. If he needed both my kidneys, I would give them to him. I would give my life for him. And I won't give him what he really needs and wants?" - I've never really thought of it that way, and what loving mother could possibly argue with such logic? I hope you'll continue writing more stories because you have a real gift! Thanks so much!

I loved this story! Some of the chapters got slightly boring, however the build up was necessary for an extremely good outcome. I look forward to any more stories you may write.
