Her kids are not main characters in this story because the sequel fever is about her kids. The bestfriend Jill has her kids. What mother do you know would place her children in this kind of danger by having her with them and she's not giving up on school she's just taking a break. I would assume that her stress levels would be magnified if she had her kids with her and didn't have the common sense to wait to finish school. Just think of how you would feel being sick? Would you go to school and be able to focus if your body was changing? Why not place the children in the care of someone who would be able to be there for them in this moment. It's not that her children are unimportant but that they are. Now do you understand what I was trying to convey?
