I'm liking this, nice wry humour.

This is a very good start. I enjoy the humor in this storyline. I can see some very humorous future scenes between your main character and her love interest; whatever you do do not rush it take your time and develop this story. I wanted to read more of this story.

It was a good start to a story, but you should mark when you change perspective.
