The Texas setting and mentality was a bit underutilized for my taste , the story at it's worst read like a Lonestar riff of Archie, Betty and Veronica. I admit that as a big fan of Larry McMurtry ( think " Last Picture Show " ) I wanted some grit among the graduate,glitz. Since the author said a ( potentially inflamatory ) interacial theme would be upcoming , full and final judgement is reserved.

I respect Bobandbobbi seems to be writing from his heart and must have put hard work into this introduction. Good luck! Don't be afraid to introduce a potential bitches and assholes in the character mix. Jaycuck isn't. Utilize the spirit of the naysayer critics as way to ratchet up dramatic tension ( author judo ) .
