Rayne Allen's F-150 stopped at the picnic table by the county road. This was a quiet spot where they could just be together even if it wasn't completely dark.
Summer flew by; there was much to do to get ready for UTPB. The young couple managed time away alone, either exploring private places on each ranch, or frequent trips to their special place in the park. They went dancing as often as they could; they simply had to convince an adult to go with them whenever they wanted to dance at The Stomp. They always found a way to continue regular practice of their love making skills, but they could never quite get an opportunity to make use of the motel bed again. Finally, in mid August, they moved into their dorm rooms at University of Texas Permian Basin.

LordSlamdawggover 7 years agoThe Texas setting and mentality was a bit underutilized for my taste , the story at it's worst read like a Lonestar riff of Archie, Betty and Veronica. I admit that as a big fan of Larry McMurtry ( think " Last Picture Show " ) I wanted some grit among the graduate,glitz. Since the author said a ( potentially inflamatory ) interacial theme would be upcoming , full and final judgement is reserved.
I respect Bobandbobbi seems to be writing from his heart and must have put hard work into this introduction. Good luck! Don't be afraid to introduce a potential bitches and assholes in the character mix. Jaycuck isn't. Utilize the spirit of the naysayer critics as way to ratchet up dramatic tension ( author judo ) .
