These kind of stories would be just as appealing if there was no attempt to portray her attackers as black man running wild. It adds nothing to the appeal of the story, and it is blatant racism. Please, no more of this.

I think the story stands on its own without needing to be about race - there are certainly enough men in every culture or race or colour to not need the big scary black man cliché.
