But personally, as a former author of this place, if I was you I would have posted part 2 with part 1 and kept writing till part 3 or 4 if it came to that. Part 1 probably gotten low scores due to giving very little and just ending it. It's fine to do a short story if it's done right; your story is much better as you get into the juicy parts. Now with how this is going I am sure it goes without saying the sister at some point gets into the action.

The story is getting better. The sister is definitely a bitch. The mother appears to be a nice person when she is not drunk. It would be nice to see what emotional and psychilogical characteristic the mother has when he is sober.

I am not entirely sure why but I don't really like Henry. He seems a little sleazy. I am confused by this family. They have loaded the car with suitcases and drive three hours for a wedding and reception then put back on the clothes they traveled in and drive three hours back! What were the suitcases even for? I thought they planned on staying overnight after all the drinking at the reception.
