In the last story, you mention the sex offenders list. That didn't exist even on a state level until the 1990s. The federal sex offender registry didn't exist until 2006!!

In this story you say that the 60s was the decade before HIV/AIDS. This is incorrect. AIDS was first recognized in the 1980s and that is the decade of the worst part of the crisis. By the mid-90s there were good treatments that would allow someone with HIV to live a long life, but before that the treatments were often almost as bad as the disease.
