I thought for sure Black Ker was going to run from Joe after she woke up. Joe must have been really tired to not have noticed anything till the door busted open.

She woke up next to a good looking guy in a hotel room, she knows nothing else at that point so there was no reason to run. As for Joe, he was up all the previous day and all night driving, so he's pretty tired at this point. Even wolves need to sleep.
