Your writing while not grammatically horrid is tone deaf. I'm not sure you are African American, South African or African anything.

No one, especially brothers, wears Tim"s with silk dress pants.

Your writing bobs between outline, setup and dialogue. There are few if any transitions. Your characters are stereotyped contrivances that do little more than serve as wooden caricatures in improbable situations.

If you want I can rewrite or edit this story. You will then have a template of how your subsequent stories should look and feel to the reader. Or I could do nothing. Makes me no difference. I check back in a few days for your response.
