Captain_Fapulusover 8 years agoWow, this was yet another really exciting chapter with lots of action on various levels. The suspense of what the hell is actually going on is killing me, the pacing and story progression is making me geedy for a new chapter each day and now that they finally confessed their love for each other I'm at least partially content. Was waiting when he'll gather his courage to sprang that all important question and thankfully found in inside him to love her just the same.
While the bed-time action is really arousing I can't help but shelf it as secondary afterwards the mystery of the hacking, frauds and theft. He's a politician and he must have go ten his hands dirty somewhere along the way of his career, be it intentionally or more likely involuntarily from his "friends" and "sponsors". Yet it all pales in comparison to his little sister who for some reason hides a lot of things even when nude in his bed :)
Gave it 5* fro anything less would be a crime and humbly await moar soon!

goldponyover 8 years agoAmazing the things the mind can conger up. This is a GOOD story with a development and kick to it. Lord yes keep going. I'm curious as hell where you're headed with all this, and a chapter a day isn't fast enough.hehehe. Do it at your pace but do it. So far its been straight forward with little twists, but who knows what the mind that started this has in those little caverns. Good Job. Thanks. GP

LaGazzaLadraover 8 years agoWhat better way to spend a quiet Christmas morning than to readthan reading about Ryan and his sister, who takes care of him in every way imaginable? Perfect cliffhanger ending, just to make sure we'll be coming back.
Other comments are as with your other stories; no need to rehash them.
Incidentally, what you call "a short vignette" is considerably loggerhead quite a few stories on this site. Not that I'm complaining, obviously.
Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter.

MindsMirrorabout 8 years agoAuthorPage Ch. 04 is in the queue and should be live in a couple days. Less of a cliffhanger, but there is much more to that story. However, we will be focusing on the the three linked stories as much as possible. Of course we'll continue Page when we get stuck or have thoughts. The Page plot is almost entirely complete, it's simply a matter of putting it all into a nice package. There are plenty of twists and turns to go.

One minor critique, however ... you put bullets into a magazine not a clip. A clip is what is used to load older military rifles with bullets. They go into a non-removable box magazine from a stripper clip.
I know it's a minor thing but if you are going to handle a gun, you need to know what the parts are called.

MunsonManover 6 years agoI'm reading this series for the second time. It's great! I did notice two errors in your firearms terminology-- 1) 'clip' should be 'magazine' and 2) 'shell' should be 'cartridge.'

Wish you'd get your firearms nomenclature correct, a Glock does not use a "clip", they only use magazines.

Anonymousalmost 2 years agoMaybe I missed it but it seems the emotional turmoil the MC was feeling wasnt dealt with. The story just moved to the action drama.
Anonymousalmost 2 years agoOK, one of two things is true. A) she is without external help so badly she has to take a bus and dumpster dive or B) she is a skilled hacker with enormous means and could have traveled in what ever manner she chose to her brother's home. The other is completely farcical. (The author introduced both of those ideas with the arrival of Page at her brother's.)
The only way both could be true is if she was attempting to deceive her brother and I'm pretty sure that is not the direction they are moving in.
Other points if she were into espionage going to her brothers or taking the bus are pretty conspicuous choices.

Also, here's a really good fuck up for your own knowledge. QUOTING:
"The guns were in nearly the same condition as they'd come from the store, since I'd only ever fired them at the range and cleaned them after every use. I picked up and inspected each clip to insure it was fully loaded with the fifteen rounds it could carry."
If you're going to store your clips for an extended period of time, YOU DON'T STORE THEM LOADED. Ryan is obviously storing them because they're not in a bedside table for self defense. They're in the case in his closet. When you fully load a gun clip and leave it that way for an extended period of time, it compresses the spring causing it to lose tension and weaken. This, in turn will cause feeding problems when firing the gun. 4/5
