In those days, blacks were considered animals. I doubt there were a lot of prim and proper ladies that got excited at the idea of fucking the livestock. You do realize this is fantasy and not historically accurate? Did you notice not a single white man, other slaves, anyone else? Do you actually think southern white plantíos women went out in daylight alone with a male slave? Let alone swap for sex with others? Come on. Yes women slept with salves but this was not common, neither would them going t an Indian women for an abortion. These are fantasy stories set in the oast

The other women in that secret society would NOT be happy having somebody stealing the best lover all for herself! They would definitely and quickly find a way to remind her that sharing is indeed the best way for everybody concerned. I wouldn't be surprised if any ladies who refused to share would not only lose their lovers but would be permanently excluded from their society and the swap meets altogether!

In all events, Mary Sue would find that returning Toby to the swap meet pool (however regretfully!) would work out for the best for everybody concerned.
