Are you completely out of your mind? I read both stories, curiosity got the best of me, and Coleen's story is nothing like the other one. Both stories are excellent, both authors fantastic and very very talented. The only simularities I could find is the straight and gay side of it.

Colleen, fantastic, wonderful, beautiful as your stories always are. Definitely deserving a higher score than just a five.

The term "Myoelectric" as applied to prosthetics refers to upper extremity prosthetics. There are computer assisted lower extremity prosthetics for above the knee amputees, the most common is the "C-leg". At 40k to 60k they are generally the leg of choice and if you had one you would wear it, not keep it in a box. There were quite a number of technical errors, perhaps you should have written about an upper extremity amputee since you know one and use your friend to help with the details

I hope you accept this criticism as constructive, as your story was generally good but mistakes on technical issues really spoil the story for me.

Your story brought back wonderful memories of times spent with my partner. She was a below knee amputee (left leg). I lost her almost two years ago when she was 61 and she died of a heart attack Sept. 2012.

I can read this story over and over and over and ...

After I thought that I had read all of Coleen Thomas works many years ago.

So, it was like finding old precious wine unexpectedly in your back yard.

It was very well written, sensitive as hell, and very convincing.

I loved the characters, their weaknesses and flaws, and the sex scene was beautifully orchestrated.

An upscale restaurant that puts a red wine on ice? No. Doesn't happen. Red wine is served at room temperature, *especially* if it's "the good stuff".

Is why nobody likes wine drinkers. It's an awful lot of pretension required just to drink rotten grape juice. 😋
