Awesome, started reading this early this morning and could not put it down. I have to rush and shower for work but this was so worth it. I really enjoy your generous use of the timeline it gives the illusion of the visual flashback. This is shaping up to being somewhat of thriller. Eventually it would be wonderful if all your supernatural characthers could intermingle. Possibly even the little girl, referred to as Pretty one in IWLYF, since she is a good girl going bad., ijs.

Ha,ha, usually I'm not so demanding, but I've just read these 2 chapters and this story is brilliant!

I can't wait to see what happens next - will Paulo have his comeuppance in the next chapter? (Oh i do hope so!) How will Reese deal with Donatello? He probably would want to just kill him, but you've set Donatello as such a sympathetic character now - and they're chess partners!

now in modern times, when there is a plague(bird flu, sars,AIDS) we have the confidence that at least there are drugs or at the very least scientists hard at work trying to solve the problem.Ccan you imagine the despair of being in such a situation without hope? Bodies piling up and nowhere to go to,nowhere safe?

I hardly ever leave reviews, but I have fallen completely in love with Donatello and Vangie. I need more of them now. I spent all my travel time to and from work and my lunch break reading and re-reading this story, mostly the passages with Don and Vang, but Resse is very interesting as well. Nice work :)

Here you go with another where is this coming from story. Wow, I am beyond intrigued. I get that there is a HUGE revenge issue, but damn, it seems like there is more than just one guilty party. Just because it's human/vampire or other does not make abuse of power any different. I am not getting confused with the names, which is a good thing, but if I had to live many lives and had to change my name for my protection I do not know if I wouldn't lose my mind. I feel we are connected to our names, so even though this is a story, imagine changing yourself every 100 or 300 years. Crazy. I can't wait for the next chapter. Just how many people will feel the wrath of vengeance here? What will happen once vengeance is met? What do you do after that goal has been achieved? This does not seem like a happy ever after kind of story. It seems more like I lived thru it and now what. Only time will tell. Thanks for another head spin. LOL

Those vampires that were made must have evil as humans because they are diabolical now. Loving Reese, he seems to be a very powerful vampires. Does his power come from his age or did he have something special about him before he was made a vampire? This is awesome!! Will Reese come across the Sinclaire's or Thorne in this story? Kala you such a phenomenal writer and I grateful that you share your talent.
