Loved the exposition - kind of biased though, being an almost native West Banker living near where Lapalco meets Belle Chasse Hwy for 27 yrs. Great writing & vivid imagery. Think I would like Chez Denise. Reminds me of La Ruth's, dining there in '91 just before it closed. Wine cellar in the attic?! Crazy!! But necessary with the climate here. Mega kudos! Five stars.

Well written. A nice steamy, taboo story of cousins in the deep South. Not exactly Elly Mae and Jethro.
