Great Story

the strength of this story.....

is that one has absolutely no idea how it will end! I figured something bad was going to happen to him, but the exact ending was a bit unexpected. What is the significance of the old man? As a reminder that we all pay the price for our misdeeds?

Another sterling effort

Different

You must use spellcheck.

I also read some of the other stories from this writer, I can only say refreshing and different. This one catches the reader unprepared, good.

different and unexpected

a nice tale of greed but thenhis past life catches up with him and everything he had is gone and he is behind bars...poetic justice me thinks....
