Good until the ending which just trailed off. Also, there was nothing about Christine's personality or something that would make her come alive.

Main character started as Billy Ray and ended as Billy Bob.

Liked it, but definitely watch Billy Bob/Billy Ray. I would suggest developing Christine more, perhaps making her more evidently a good girl? Or maybe even developing some innocent tension between Christine and Billy Ray?

As I said though, I liked it. Overall it was enjoyable.

I am wondering where she will be next Christmas and if she will once again find Santa and slip into her elf persona.

You got his name wrong in the middle of the story

I think a much better story would have been if Billy was unable to be Santa and another (maybe his Dad took his place.) Once he had the Santa Costume on - no one would know the difference and then he would get the benefits too.
