Ship of Fools, indeed! lol <p> It looks a lot like the characters are trying hard to put the egg back into the shell, and it doesn't work; you cannot go back when you cross the line, you can only move forward with something different. <p> The reconciliation would have been the perfect time for everyone to clear the air and move on with their life unencumbered by secrets, yet here we have what appears to be a big secret from Debbie threatening their so-called marriage: one lil secret here from him, another there from her... no trust shared, no communication usually means no marriage... poor Steve should just face the inevitable and move on with his life, unless he is determined to remain a fool. <p> As much as I pity Steve as a wilfully blind man, I will admit that it was also quite funny! Thanks for the entertaining story!
