great story!

I am loving how it now seems as if Mark is calling the shots now. That was a well done scene playing it up with Victoria. Speaking of as sad as I am that you are counting down to the end of SWB your little peeks have gotten me excited about your next series. As always five stars.

I really don't understand the whole 'games' thing. Still, I was keeping up with it until Victoria Redding entered the scene and Mark started lying through his teeth and generally being an asshole. And that jealousy taunt was really just low. If that happened to me, I'd tell Mark to enjoy his beautiful garbage because that's all he's ever gonna have, and to forget about moving to Chicago because there's no one that lives there who wants him.

So, why does Mark want this declaration of love from Megan, anyway? What's going to change if she confesses she loves him? Neither of them are going to be monogamous, so... Does Mark feel he'll 'one-up' Megan or 'get even' somehow--just another 'game' he needs to win? I don't get it.

Most importantly, however you work the details out, is there even a way for this series to have a happy ending? I really can't see how, but then that's prolly not a problem for anybody but me. This whole series has been like watching a train wreck unfold. The outcome seems predictable, in that there will be plenty of pain and misery to go around. Still, though, I can pray for a miracle.

Damn can you spin a tale, though! No matter what happens, for better or worse, I will never forget this series.

but is there ever an end? for me this is much too long.

i have enjoyed it so far and cant wait till the next.but the way i see it they will never be together.i know a few people like meg.she doesn't want to be happy and never will and it will only make mark unhappy.as much as i would like to see these two together i feel its best for mark to move on.people like meg cant give love because she doesn't know how receive love..

Love the Series, but lets face it....

Everyone, & I mean EVERYONE in this series do not have lives, of what you might call a real, wholesome, meaningful LIFE.

No matter how deep the story goes, the characters REMAIN shallow, both personalities, outlook & their approach to living. I can't seem to bond with anyone here (esp. poor, abused, fucked up Meg). I get nothing from'em, and its no longer titillating as it once was. Now its just pure investment reading: I've put in too much time following the series & now must finish it.

I have loved reading SWB. This is the first incest story I have ever read and find myself a little freaked over the brother/sister thing. But you have done such a great job describing their love that I tend to forget that part of it. Keep writing I can't wait to read more and hopefully find out all of the secrets!!

...why do Mark have to be such a possessive asshole at times...why can't you give us more group sex... See, the comments don't mean shit. hey sorry about not commenting I tend to save my comments for the end of the final chapter of the series and I also want to thank you for the link to the stories on the other site I got all the Broken series and I sincerely love them you are an amazing author

Sigh! As much as I love this story, the ending of this chapter just made me a little sick to my stomach. Not sure how much I am liking Mark and Megan and their games right now.

Even so, not going to stop me from continuing or loving the story!

Argggh... I have to agree with previous comments. Reading this is starting to make me feel sick. It's soooo frustrating to see her even struggling with this, but I did love the finishing touch at the end, throwing her comment of "Jealousy is an ugly emotion" back in her face. But I don't like game playing Mark very much, of course, I think he's more than entitled by this point, I just want it to be over and have her make the right damn decision!

For the past few months I have been reading SWB. Digesting, taking my time, and following what I hoped to read like a fetish novel with interesting characters, unbridled sex, and a memorable climax. I have voted at the end of every chapter but as of yet, had not added any comments. Typically, I wait for the final scene to drop before assessing the overall imprint the material has left on me.

Today I am commenting for several reasons. Without going into detail I just want to share my personal feelings of what I have read so far. While I usually read simple, short stories for personal self-gratification I have chosen to read longer chapter stories by writers I have come to enjoy. You, LC, have become one of my absolute favorites on this site.

The characters in this story are alive and can be anyone we pass walking down the street. The story lines have detailed the lives of two individuals and I feel like I have watched them growing up. I have become invested in their futures, aroused by the success in work and bed, saddened by their misfortunes and failures. Saying that this story has me riveted would be a gross understatement.

I read 6 to 8 books a month. As an avid reader, I use this time to unwind from long days at work and to just lose myself in someone else's world for an hour or so a night. When I find someone/something I like I stay with it and read everything that person has to offer in the series or other writings. The highest compliment I can pay to you and I hope it is taken by you as the utmost flattery of your writing is: I have found myself saying that this should be a book and the author could write novels for a living. I would read anything that was released in that form and follow the author in any endeavor they chose. I do hope that you feel the sincerity in that compliment. Unlike you (but I am trying and plan to release in the near future), I am not as elegant with words and when writing something as simple as this comment I am unsure if my words are doing my mind and heart felt feelings justification.

Is there anything that I would have done different or things that I would change? As far as the story, I wouldn't change a thing. The story is real and can be happening next door. The characters are alive and sitting at the next table in the restaurant sharing supper. The sex is and will be fantastic. The only flaw is that with numerous sex scenes in 30+ chapters, it becomes hard to write sexual scenes that haven't already been said or done. Not every scene has to change but descriptions and actions can be reworded so they don't sound like something you read in previous chapters. This is a small critique and one that I wouldn't know how to change if could get to the point of writing something this long.

Please know that I am a fan: almost obsessed with this story and where it is headed. Thank you for your time and the effort you put in to this work of art. As long as you continue to write I will continue to be amazed at your creations and will continue to be an avid reader and fan.

My thoughts about this story it is long, very long, complicated , very complicated , and easy to lose your way , but isn't that like real life. I find it intriguing, and full of puzzles. But the sex is good, intense, not fun like so many other stories on this sight. So I shall keep coming back for more. But I notice that Victoria Redding never made any comments on Megan's obvious beauty, even though it is mentioned more than once in most chapters. I would have thought beauty of that strength would transcend even jeans and t-shirts.

What the hell? Twice my comment has disappeared before I finished it. I can’t repeat it anymore so I’ll just say that introducing new characters is not helping the story but is providing Megan more opportunities to play the bitch and drive a wedge further between her and her brother, not to mention her own family. She has totally screwed up her life, but appears to get rich in spite of herself. But how will this resolve? Only 7 more chapters to find out.
