How you manage to make educating those ignorant of the concept of consensual sex whilst writing an incredibly erotic story at the same time, is beyond me. I always have done, and always will, operate on a strictly consensual regime. As you made Tanya point out, Lara said she was up for anything. As anybody with half a brain could point out, this is meaningless. A few minutes negotiation before play starts obviates the need for a safe word. But limits have to be stated and respected. You're a brilliant author, Pixie, as well as a principled and fair minded woman. I can do no more than award this chapter 5 stars.

The story developed nicely up to the point when Pixie explained to Lara why Tanya went too far: Apparently her actions were influenced by porn made by men catering to men's needs, and those needs include objectifying women.

WTF? Firstly, it seems unlikely that lesbian women get their sex ed from man-made hetero porn. Secondly, it is such a cliche that men just want one-night stands and no committed relationship. Finally, abuse is abuse, and it cannot be rationalized by men's needs, especially if the perpetrator is a woman.

The concept of safe, sane and consensual interaction applies to any D/s situation, whether between hetero, gay or non-binary people.

Apart from that one objectionable paragraph, I find that the story continues to develop nicely.

Pixiehoff is really building the tension (sexual and otherwise) with this latest offering. I'm getting a distinct sociopathic vibe from Tanya which is affecting my calculus on how things might unfold. - And Lara is a total enigma. The only certainty / constant is Pixie and what we know about the capacity of her heart and the capability of her mind. - Somehow I get the feeling that Tanya and Lara are going to test both. I was in Summerschool too, at Oxford last summer, and that makes it lovely to read as well. But apart from your style, Pixie - can I describe it as posh-casual? - there is a beautiful soft tone to this story. And the educational element of having responsible sex - which is, of course, not about not getting pregnant, but about facing your desires and viewing the other person(s) not (only) as the focal point of your lust, but as a human being worthy of your attention and (after)care - makes it only better.
