I'm hoping your other series are wrapping up so you may concentrate on continuing this series.

One note on the technical side, I'm noticing a habit of dropping the occasional letter from a word. Two examples from this chapter, "he" instead of "her", "fist" instead of "first". There were also a few instances of a missing "s" on words that should have been plural. But, as far as errors in Lit published stories go, those are relatively minor glitches.

Too bad the first page of this chapter was coded wrong, leaving it in all bold font. Made for a bit of struggle to read, especially when the last bit of the story, on the second page, was back to normal.

I thought the first installment of your story had great potential. I was wrong.

Although I am aware you have a considerable number of stories posted here, my reaction is that you do not understand what it takes to write a great story for this website.

No, this story has not been abandoned. I've published Chapters 3 and 4. I kind of screwed up and put under "Mind Control" instead of "Novels and Novellas". I am working on chapter 5 now. There will be a bit of a lag between chapters, though. I'm trying to build this story carefully. That takes time.
