A good storyline is more important to me than an all sex in every paragraph tale. This is good. I was thinking that you had a start for a longer novel if you expanded the details of your actual cases you were on, but then again with your detective being in a cage I can see why your story was a little shorter, if only for his sake.

Nice to see you branching out and trying a new genre. An entertaining read.
