Well written with good characterization. It seems that it could end here or could go on to give more details of their lives together. I really think that is a good point to stop.

Like the way you tied it up. He was honest about what happened and she forgave him. There was no "official" exclusivity so maybe he didn't really cheat, but they both thought he did and that is all that matters. Thanks for another fine story.

I enjoyed the story as a whole very much. I don't think the hero ever really explained his one night stand. I guess we all do crazy things like that without every understanding our motivation.

Donna has alot of heart and love in her to take Jack back like that.

but better late than never. I thought when I was reading that it had similarities to a story I had previously read and after I finished it I looked at Foul Language and remembered it totally. This was a very romantic story with the bit of infidelity to jangle the nerves a bit and I really liked it. Sometimes I think us men are a bit dull, doing things we know would hurt someone but not looking back anyway. Yes a bit dull. Thank you for your story. I will continue to look for more. Charley

An excellent story. Fascinating though that if the roles had been reversed and Donna had cheated on Jack there would be fifty comments, at least forty of which would be screaming "once a cheater always a cheater," defaming Coaster2's manhood, and complaining because she wasn't humiliated before her family and friends and driven into abject poverty.

I realize it would kill the story, but why wouldn't he take the woman he loves home with him for his father's memorial service?

Huh? She TOLD him to go, now she's upset that he left and she was alone again?

I was hoping she’d dump him. He said he loved her with all his heart. B.S. If that were true, he wouldn’t have cheated, certainly not that easily. Then she said that his classmate’s seduction of him is payback for his seduction of her. Huh? That makes absolutely no sense.

These two sick puppies deserve each other.

She has a big forgiving heart and the fact she would forgive him made for a good ending. I don't usually go along with forgiveness of a cheat, but the way his consentience got the best of him I would say like she said it was out of character for him. I guess everyone deserves a second chance and with what he did trying to make it right I guess he did truly deserve a second chance. Well done Coaster 5 stars
